Pros:
1. Looks great
2. The low/high beam light on top. This I very helpful in finding position...especially, with stick welding.

Cons:
Only 1 > labeling for the sensitivity adjustment knobs was just black and very hard to read. I had to go off online pictures to see them. That said, the positives outweigh this detail and I still feel the helmet merits a 5 star rating.
I already had a true color solar powered welding helmet that I love, but task lighting was still an issue for me. With my eyes getting older it was getting hard to see where I was going to start welding. Then I saw Miller had come out with a helmet with a built in light that was crazy money, so I decided to build my own. I ended up with an LED head lamp that I fastened to the chin of my helmet and it has been a vast improvement, but far from perfect. For starters all I could find were headlamps that had multi function lights that requires me to cycle thru the different setting and colors to turn it on and off. Then the light was too big and too bright to mount on the top of the helmet. The chin position has been better than nothing but often ends up casting a shadow from my hand while holding my MIG gun in position. Also the light would trigger the auto-darken feature and defeat the purpose for having it in the first place.
This new helmet is a huge improvement. In the photo you can see how much brighter it is to begin with, also the light only has high, low and off, making it a breeze to operate. Additionally the light is rechargeable, fits great and is surprisingly much lighter than the one I have been using. On top of all that the graphics are rather sharp looking. All in all a great upgrade for a very reasonable price.
